Is welago free?
Yes. welago is free for organizers and guests. We earn a small commission when you visit travel sites through our partner links, which keeps the app free for everyone.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests access welago via a link in any browser. No download, no account required. Creating a free account unlocks extra features like notifications and messaging.
How many people can be on a trip?
Up to 300 guests per trip — from a 4-person weekend trip to a large destination wedding.
Does welago handle payments or bookings?
No. All bookings happen directly on partner sites like Expedia, Booking.com, and Kayak. welago coordinates your group — you book wherever you get the best deal.
How do voice calls work?
Any crew member can start a voice call from a discussion or DM. Tap to join and welago calls your phone. You can also dial in with a 6-digit PIN. See who's on the call, mute, or hang up from the app.
What can the AI do?
The AI knows your full trip — crew list, RSVPs, travel details, discussions, and daily plan. Ask it questions in plain English, create polls, or paste a confirmation and it extracts every detail. Use AI Quick-Add to add plan items by typing naturally ("dinner at 7pm Saturday"). The assistant remembers prior messages in the conversation so you can follow up without repeating context.
Can I use welago on my phone?
Yes. welago works on any browser and has native apps on iOS and Android with push notifications, voice calls, and wallet passes.
